Terex Utilities Workshops are designed to educate technicians on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures for a specific piece of Terex equipment. Attendees can register for workshops focused specifically on digger derricks, distribution bucket trucks, or large transmission aerial devices. All workshops are conducted Watertown, South Dakota in conjunction with the Terex manufacturing facility.
The Master Mechanic Learning Center provides Terex customers, distributors, and team members with a variety of online training opportunities to better understand, maintain, and operate Terex Utilities equipment.
Individuals interested in pursuing a Mobile Hydraulic Mechanic certification through the International Fluid Power Society will have the opportunity to go through a review session led by our certified instructors before attempting the written and practical exams. The review session and testing can be conducted either at Terex Utilities or on-site at your location.
Terex Utilities offers on-site training that can be customized to target the experience level of your technicians. For introductory training, we can offer a class covering aerial devices and digger derricks in general. For more advanced training, we can focus on your equipment fleet, targeting specific models and integrating unit specific hydraulic and electrical schematics into the training. Technicians will have the opportunity to perform inspections and learn troubleshooting tips on their own equipment.
